Most polar bears live north of the Arctic Circle to the North Pole, with some populations south of the Arctic Circle in Hudson Bay, Manitoba, Canada. Polar bears are found in Alaska, Canada, Russia, Greenland and on some northern islands owned by Norway like Svalbard. Sadly, the long term survival of polar bears is under threat due to climate change.
