587b785d F3a8 4f57 Aa92 A444ef6a0976This year in honor of Turkey Tuesday, the team at AZPetVet partnered with St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP) to collect donations for pet owners in need. By placing donation boxes at each of our 22 locations across the valley, we were able to collect 3,420 pounds of pet food and 1,997 pet supply items through the generous donations of those in our community!

AZPetVet is proud to be partnering with SVdP as they work to harness the power of community and partnerships to feed, clothe, house and heal individuals and families in our community. All donations will go directly to families in SVdP’s Companion Animal Program which has a mission of keeping pet owners safe, together and sheltered with their pets. The program helps provide pet owners access to free wellness check-ups, vaccines, microchipping, licensure, food & supplies, and much more through community partnerships with organizations like AZPetVet.

As an organization we are proud of the donation that we were able to provide this year, but it is not possible without the hundreds of community members who step up each year and flood our hospitals with food, treats, toys and beds for pets and families in need. It is because of you that we are able to assist so many across the valley.

The amount of support the AZPetVet staff and clients showed with their gracious donations was tremendous! We are so thankful for the love and kindness the donors have shown to our guests and their pets,” said Alberto Diaz, Companion Animal Program Manager at St. Vincent de Paul.

Since the program’s inception in 2021, the Companion Animal program has served over 250 pets with medical needs and has seen more than 300 pets spayed, neutered, vaccinated and licensed through local partnerships! We are very excited to continue our partnership with St. Vincent de Paul in the coming years as we work together to provide essential veterinary care to the pets in our community.
