For the second consecutive year, AZPetVet joined forces with Maricopa County Animal Care & Control (MCACC) and The LovePup Foundation to participate in an extraordinary event!

On both March 2nd and March 30th, AZPetVet participated in a unique microchip and vaccination event. Pet owners were able to bring their pets to receive care via a drive-up style format, where skilled veterinary professionals were able to administer services. Dubbed ‘Care on the Go’, this event has proven to be a remarkable collaboration within the animal care community.

Throughout the weekends, veterinary professionals and community volunteers worked tirelessly to provide essential services to 693 dogs, delivering a combined total of more than 2,200 services. The services included Rabies Vaccinations, vaccines to protect against Parvovirus and Distemper, as well as Microchips and licenses.

With a commitment to serving communities in need, the events were free of charge to those who were able to attend, attracting a significant turnout.

Volunteers worked diligently to ensure the health and safety of every animal, prioritizing efficiency without compromising care. It was heartwarming to witness such wonderful attendance, and the dedication of pet owners in safeguarding the well-being of their beloved pets.

This impactful event wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of a myriad of community partners including MCACC, The LovePup Foundation, PetCo Love, AZPetVet, and others. The contributions from these organizations – and their dedicated teams – played a pivotal role in making this event a success.

We are honored to have been able to support this event and provide the time and expertise of our incredible team members to such a meaningful cause. We eagerly anticipate more opportunities to make a positive difference in the lives of pets and their owners in the future!
